I am trying to knit a bunny for my great neice and was doing quite well until I started working on the arms. This is the instructions that stumped 26 Jan 2012 pat or patt, pattern. pfb, purl 1 into front and back of a stitch; single purl increase. pm, place marker. p2tog, purl 2 stitches together; single decrease. The With Yarn in Back instruction (abbreviated as wyib) is found generally in pattern where you slip a stitch. 10 Feb 2017 22 Sep 2017 The instruction “Sl 1 wyif, k5” tells you to slip a stitch with the yarn on the front the yarn to the back before knitting, even though the instructions don't tell you to).In the beginning, looking at a knitting pattern can be very confusing — is that a Knitted items can be worked back and forth in rows to form a flat piece, or in Knitting Abbreviations. TOGETHER (Tog.) When this is carried out on a Knit row, you place the point of the right hand needle through the next two stitches on the left hand needle from left to right. DECREASE (Dec.) SLIP (Sl.) PASS SLIPPED STITCH OVER (p.s.s.o.) THROUGH BACK OF LOOP (Tbl.) YARN FORWARD (yfwd) YARN BACK 2 R 2 stitches to the right (to work a cable). slip 2 stitches purl wise onto a cable needle, let cable needle hang in back of work as you knit the next couple of stitches; then knit stitches off of cable needle. Double Knitting weight yarn.
